I’ve arrived! I’ve been mis-quoted by the media!
Remember that L.A. Times reporter I blogged about yesterday?
He attributed a quote to me that was a mis-mash of things said by me, TD, AND Rusty.
“He’s the lesser evil,” said one young self-described “gunnie” from the Memphis area who blogs at squeakywheelseeksgrease.com. “But I’m still looking for the right candidate. . . . I’m not thrilled at all with John McCain.” Many bloggers who write about gun issues use pseudonyms because of the controversial nature of the debate.
Nice.
Here’s another gem of a quote…y’all are gonna love this:
Many gun rights advocates are still enraged that McCain supports efforts to close the so-called gun show loophole, which allows people who buy guns from unlicensed dealers at gun shows to avoid criminal background checks required during gun sales from licensed dealers.
Not sure I need to expound on that. Commenters, go for it. :-)

The LAT reporter involved was the infamous Noam Levey, chief Washington Democrat propagandist for the LAT. Regular LAT readers know him well and are never surprised at what he writes. There are few places in journalism where he could work. The LAT is one of those few.
So…I’ve been quoted by the renegade jackass of the media, too? Neat!
