Y’all, I’m taking 44 pills per day right now. It will reduce to 37 after a month, and then to 32 after two months. Then I don’t know what’s going to happen. Here’s the list, along with what it’s prescribed/recommended for (and there are a couple I still need to get, because I ran out/haven’t [...] The only character who remotely resembles themselves is the Nurse Practitioner, who is, BTW, the one I had to report a year ago for abuse. This represents the past two years of opinions, except for the LLMD – that was his reaction on Wednesday when my second test came back negative, without ANY Lyme treatment [...] Because my last update included some medical info, but was overshadowed by my bad mood (which is better – it was mostly due to dealing with morons directly after finding out that I have to take yet more [expensive] medication), I’ll go ahead and write another entry with those details. I got to bed late [...] I don’t even know where to begin on the past several days. I should note that my mother broke a vertebra in her lumbar spine, so the bad luck hasn’t just been hanging around my door. (She’s okay, BTW – just needs to rest so it can mend, but she’s getting a bone scan Monday, [...] I think I’ve made it clear that I’m sick right now. Not the Lyme thing (because OBVS), but with this sinus-infection-turned-bronchitis. I called the newer NP that my doctor’s office has put me with on Friday (she’s the one who was so helpful on Wednesday – you know, with all of the unnecessary tests? and [...] So I started Ogestrel 2 weeks ago (it’s birth control), in a last-ditch effort to try to regulate my periods before yanking my uterus out. Late in the first week, I started having twinges of cramps. I looked it up online, and this was the #1 complaint/side effect from studies. Okay, fine, I’d deal with [...] Long story short: got hormones tested last week, got results today. FSH and estrogen are low, but still in normal range. AMH puts me below the 10th percentile for women my age, and my ovaries are looking like they’re actually about 41-42 years old. Basically, I’m fairly infertile. I wanted a hysterectomy, anyway (adenomyosis has [...] January 28 is my anniversary with Forrest. This year, we celebrated two years together, which is, ironically, the point where Wasband and I were separated. So clearly this is a better situation. Anyway, on the 27th, I ate a chef salad from McAlister’s off of Mendenhall…it was around 9pm.
