The chance of anything coming of this now is slim to none - and I have attempted to get a restraining order (not that it would do any good if he DID try anything - which is why I decided to learn to defend myself), but because his contact with me was limited to things that the police did not see as threatening, I was brushed aside. The fact is that while it would be nice if the police were able to take care of everything for me, I realize that they can't, and sometimes won't. I learned that the hard way.
