O GOD MY ARMPIT

This is like a little mini-saga, isn’t it?

ADVANCED WARNING:  MORE DISGUSTING PHOTOS FORTHCOMING.  OPEN WOUNDS.  ALSO, A Q-TIP.

Basically, the last 12 hours have sucked complete ass.

Because I didn’t sleep well at all on Tuesday night, I forced myself to sleep pretty much all afternoon/evening yesterday, because I wanted to be rested for [...]

You asked for it – Post-Surgery Photos

I’m going to be nice and put the actual photos under a cut.

And I still have to tell the Epic Story of Yesterday, but again, that’s going to have to come later, because I need more sleep.

But here are the pics, below the cut, along with explanations, etc.

(I apologize to those [...]

I’m ASKING this time. You’re welcome.

After the surgery this morning, and all of the running around I did, the packing/gauze that was on the surgery site got lumpy, and it hurt very much.  When I finally arrived home, the tape was giving way, and the incision site was visible.

Being me, I had Forrest take a couple of photos.

So.  [...]

I HAVE A JOB.

I also have an EPIC story about today, but that’s the most important part.

I’ve moved around too much after having had surgery under my arm, so I’ve lost blood, and due to a lack of sleep, I’m exhausted, so the story will have to wait until tomorrow.

BUT I’M EMPLOYED, BITCHES.

I start my [...]

Staph update (with photos) and meme update, sort of.

First, the 30-Day Song Challenge thing is obviously on hold.  I’ll play catch-up soon.  I have school work to do, staph to take care of, and general malaise from the pain of the staph making me just not give a shit about a meme.  But I love music, so I WILL prevail.  It’ll just take [...]

Warning: Gross armpit photos ahead.

For those who are curious (and I think there may be a few of you), I decided to take photos of my armpits tonight (after many painkillers…I’m not joking when I say it really hurts to move my arm because of the location of the largest abscess), so that you’d have an idea of what [...]

I am awesome/WHAT THE SHIT.

If the title hasn’t already tipped you off, this week’s been a little “off” for me, and it culminated today in the kind of fucktardery that I’ve come to expect out of my life…which is to say that I don’t ever expect anything to go as planned any more, because it never does.

There are [...]

30-Day Song Challenge – Day 5

Day 5 – A Song That Reminds You of Someone

Nearly every song I hear reminds me of the circumstance I was in when I first heard it, or when I first liked it/hated it, whatever.

There are few songs that really remind me of people, but if there’s a connection with a song, it’s [...]

30-Day Song Challenge – Day 4

Day 4 – A Song That Makes You Sad

Where would I even begin?

Musically, there are songs that have weird chord transitions that inexplicably make me cry (Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals – Finale“), songs that make me cry because of their associations (Judy Garland’s “Zing!  Went the Strings of My Heart“), and songs [...]

30-Day Song Challenge – Day 3

Day 3 – A Song That Makes You Happy

Hm.  Again, there are lots of these.  I’m going to limit myself to one (you seeeeeee how good I’m being about this?  SEE?), and just go with the first song I can think of that always puts me in a good mood whenever I not only [...]
