An older gentleman was reading a newspaper and sitting next to me at Starbucks, where I was waiting for my student, and he suddenly turns to me and asks, “Do you watch a lot of TV?”
“Uh, yeah, I guess?” I shrugged, because, well, I do, but mostly on Netflix.
“Have you ever watched ‘Justified’?” [...]
Thanks to a commenter (Hunter) – his comment here) on this post about the man with Down’s (Robert) who was killed by off-duty deputies acting as theater security guards, I’ve learned that the death has been ruled a homicide, officially, but that they want to keep things in-house:
In the interest of full disclosure, Sheriff [...]
Thank you to Breda’s FacebookTM and to Uncle for sharing my post about Robert Saylor.
To everyone who’s shared this on Twitter, Facebook, etc. – I thank you, as well. So far, there have been 5 Tweets, 73 Facebook shares/comments (it counts both as a share, since it’s being discussed), and 2 shares on Google+, [...]

I’m not getting notifications of comments, for some reason. I’ve updated, re-selected options, etc., and nothing doing.
If I don’t reply to you, IT’S NOTHING PERSONAL, I promise! I’m not that active as a blogger, right now, but I’m not a dick.
I just learned from Breda’s Facebook (trademark pending) that there’s a New Jersey school implementing a “no cursing” rule for female students. The males, however, have simply been asked to abstain from cursing when females are near.
Allow me to quote from “The Birdcage”:
Val: “Are you upset?”
Armand: “…and let me tell you why.”
