I do this too much. Sorry.
-Woke up on time for my 8am exam, then got into a bit of drama and missed it. Since this was me trying to take it early in order to be free this evening for the wedding rehearsal (my exam will be over at 5:30, and the rehearsal starts at 5:45 and is a 40-minute drive from campus), I didn’t MISS it. But this may mean I miss the wedding rehearsal, and that’s never good.
-I was studying for the exam until around midnight last night, but didn’t get to sleep until around 2. Alarm went off at 6:30. I had a lot of coffee, and thus can’t get back to sleep, but I’m too tired to focus on looking over things some more, or writing my rhetoric paper. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what is known as “crash and burn”.
-I don’t get “Flight of the Conchords”. Some of their stuff is funny, but the whole thing is like this over-done schtick that gets really old, really quickly. There are only so many stupid songs you can sing about doing mundane things before you just start to look like an idiot.
-The dress I’m supposed to wear for the wedding doesn’t fit. I either have to lose 10 pounds in 2 days (hahahahaahaha), or submit to the horror that is a support garment. Actually, it’s not THAT bad. It’s just the arms that are too tight, as usual. I swear, if I work out, my arms are too muscular. If I don’t work out, they’re just too fat. Either way, they NEVER deviate from being between 13″ and 14″ around on the bicep. WTF. On the plus side, if I hold my arms in “gripping music binder” position, they don’t look too bad. I can’t move them much from that position, anyway, with the grip of death the seams have on my shoulders.
-No word yet on the professor. I can’t make it out to visit today if they go (due to aforementioned drama), but hopefully someone will let me know what’s going on.
-I just realized that I can’t find the sheet music to the song I’m singing at the wedding.
Put a fork in me.
