Twitter is down entirely too often for my taste.
Now that I have folks following me (thanks to my link on my blog), I am more inclined to update it and/or check it a little more frequently. I still don’t check often enough to warrant folks putting important life-changing items on there and expecting me to receive them, but I do check a little more frequently than I have in the past.
However, more often than not nowadays, I get this message when I try:

So you REALLY want people to use your service. You advertise, rely on word-of-mouth, and hope hope hope that everyone will use you.
But you don’t prepare yourself for the strain on your servers when folks are Twittering (Tweeting?) every single little mundane moment of their day via web and text, and the site keeps crashing.
Twitter Fail.

Do you use Firefox? You might want to look at the add-on Twitterfox. That way you don’t have to waste time going to twitter.com.

I am going to hotlink the shit out of that image, squeaks.
David – Thanks. Now I’m going to be on Twitter constantly.

Ahab – It’s not my bandwidth – but I’d make sure it’s okay with TD before you do that, so that he doesn’t end up giving you a goatse image or something…lol.
Uh, it’s too late.
Don’t worry, I’m not putting it up on my blog, it’s on a random internet forum.
Where?
