The More You Know.

-Food poisoning is a good reason to take Pepto Bismol.  However, it is not a good reason to take half a bottle of Pepto Bismol.  I’ll leave the rest of that statement/story untold.

-A rook piercing?  Doesn’t hurt.  They LIE!  It does, however, take about 2 hours to stop bleeding.

-Karaoke in a gay bar is the best kind of karaoke.

-Tater Red’s is awesome.  (*NOTE* – Tater Red’s is a voodoo/joke shop on Beale.  Not a gay bar.)

That’s pretty much all I’ve got.  I have to finish getting ready for class right now, and I’m running late.  As usual.

I usually lurk, but your post made me go google ‘rook piercing’ to see what it was.

From wikipedia: “The rook piercing tends to be much more painful due to the large amounts of cartilage tissue through which the needle passes.”

    Ow!

/They do look cool though :)

Amy – Wikipedia is apparently completely full of it. Every personal account I’ve read, with my own experience, notes that it really doesn’t hurt that much at all. It stings, yes, when it’s being pierced, and it’s one of the longer-duration piercings I’ve ever had (the longest being my tongue the second time I got it pierced…scar tissue does that), but as far as pain, on a scale of 1 to 10? I’d give it a 3. Maybe. My tongue was also the most painful…I would give it a solid 8. I guess it’s a matter of perspective. :-)
