JB, as I believe I’ve mentioned, is a musician at his church. Playing piano and singing are two things he happens to be very good at, and so from time to time, he is asked to sing a feature song for an event.
Tonight is one of those times.
He was asked ahead of time which song he’d like to sing, and the programs were handed out this morning.
JB’s song selection is listed in the program as, “God Walks the Green Mile.”
When asked what she was thinking when she approved the printing of the bulletins, the woman in charge said, “Uh…isn’t that the title?”
Uh…no, it’s not.
I guess it would be too much to ask for Tom Hanks to come to the service tonight, eh?
