I do light Photoshop editing, and have created posters and press packets/photos for Slacker Central Productions (MySpace). Their official website is here.
My main tool is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, but I will use a Canon Rebel GII if there is a subject I feel would look better on film (note: Canon does not produce or sell this camera any longer - the newest version they have is the T2). I use the Canon Digital Elph SD1000 for day-to-day shooting.
I have had my work published both online and in print, for personal, creative, and educational use.
